After Decades of Mexican and US Government Collusion, Drug Cartels Go Global

Politicians always look for easy money and easy solutions. For decades the Mexican government has taken the drug cartels’ (Narcos’) money and looked the other way. For decades the US government has looked the other way. Well, neither taking the money nor looking the other way works. The Narcos have destroyed Mexico and major portions of the US. Mexico is a failed state ruled by chaos and murder. Parts of the US are Narco “no go zones” where US police and citizens dare not enter. California is lost.

With collusion and support of the two governments the Mexican drug cartels have now gone global. Here are some excerpts from a recent article.

Mexican drug traffickers are branching out as never before — spreading their tentacles into 47 nations, including the U.S., Guatemala and even Colombia, long the heart of the drug trade in Latin America.

In dozens of interviews with officials and experts in seven countries, The Associated Press found that the Mexican mobs increasingly buy directly from the cocaine-producing Andes and have begun using countries as distant as Argentina to obtain the raw material for methamphetamine. Mexican gangsters have been arrested as far away as Malaysia as they seek new markets for cocaine and meth supply sources.

Everyone Knew it Would Happen

When I was a kid, the prevailing wisdom in Mexico was that the drug cartels wouldn’t hurt Mexico; after all, they were just selling to the damn Gringos.

The prevailing wisdom in the US came in two flavors. First was the Republicans’ tolerance of the illegal drug smuggling because they wanted illegal immigration for cheap labor.

Then along came the presidents G. H. W. Bush and G. W. Bush. They had business operations in Mexico and dreamed the impossible dream. They dreamed of letting uneducated and criminal peasants into the US, giving them amnesty, and by magic – instant Republican voters.

The much smarter Democrats (especially Ted Kennedy) knew all along that uneducated and criminal illegal invaders were a natural for the Democratic Party; and anyway, who cared about a few drugs; they used drugs themselves. With a wink and a nod and bologna about bipartisan cooperation, the Democrats encouraged the Republicans to keep the border open. The Democrats recognized other Democrats when they saw them.

Now, Mexico is a failed state and is the major source of illegal drug for the US. And, Mexican drug dealers are taking over organized crime in much of the US. Illegal aliens have ruined California and are bringing their corruption, crime, and culture to cities across America. Good job Teddy, George, and George.
