Time for a Road Trip

It’s time for a spring road trip again. It will be a little work, a little vacation, and lots of family time. This trip will take me through Arizona, into New Mexico and the Great Plains, then back to Colorado, and Utah.

Clint Walker played Cheyenne Bodie on Television in the 1950’s and 60’s. Cheyenne was the first 60 minute Western on Television. His adventures took him all over the West, but one took him to Washington where he worked in a show while involved in an investigation.

During this episode, he sang and danced. At 6’6” tall with a deep voice, he did quite a rendition of “Beautiful Dreamer”. I remember that this was one of my Grandmother’s favorite songs and we sometimes gave her music boxes for Christmas and birthdays. She loved the ones that played Beautiful Dreamer.
